Hansi Flick could face another major transfer headache as Paris Saint-Germain set their sights on one of Barcelona's most promising midfielders.
Details: According to transfer insider Ekrem Konur, Paris Saint-Germain are preparing an offer for Barcelona attacking midfielder Fermín López. The French champions are closely monitoring the 23-year-old Spaniard's situation and assessing the possibility of bringing him to Paris. However, no official bid or agreement between the clubs has been confirmed.
However, PSG are not alone in their pursuit. Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal have also added López to their shortlists and continue to track his progress. Competition for the Spanish international could intensify in the coming months.
The potential departure of López would be a significant blow to Flick, who has made the midfielder an important part of his attacking system. The Spaniard has started the 2026/27 campaign impressively, registering nine goal contributions in 12 appearances across all competitions.
PSG have already signed Pedro Fernández and Ferran Torres from Barcelona this year, and could now attempt to lure another Catalan talent to the French capital.
It is worth noting that López graduated from Barcelona's La Masia academy and signed a contract extension in February 2026, keeping him at the club until June 2031.
