Is there no new stadium? Chelsea plans to renovate Stamford Bridge

Chelsea will stay at Stamford Bridge and expand the stadium to 55,000 seats if Todd Boehly loses the dispute with Behdad Eghbali over a place on the board of directors.
Details: According to The Sun, there have been disagreements between the club’s co-owners, Boehly and Eghbali, regarding the future development of the club.
Boehly prefers that Chelsea move to a new 60,000-seat stadium in Earl's Court, while Eghbali insists on renovating Stamford Bridge, which currently holds 40,000 people, a project that would cost £1.5 billion.

Both partners are looking to buy each other out, and the new stadium project in Earl's Court seems less likely. If Chelsea decides to expand Stamford Bridge, the club would have to temporarily leave the stadium for two years.
Additionally: There are plans to modernize the West Stand, including building concrete platforms over the nearby railway. Eghbali opposes a full demolition of Stamford Bridge and is concerned that constructing a new stadium on the same site could take five years.
