Former England star Paul Ince to stand trial for drunk driving


Former England captain Paul Ince has landed in serious trouble following an incident that occurred last Saturday, June 28. According to the Daily Mail, he has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
It is reported that the 57-year-old was involved in a crash in Cheshire, where he drove his Range Rover into a roadside barrier. Police subsequently arrested him and charged him with drunk driving. Ince was soon released on bail but will have to appear in court on July 18.
As a reminder, Paul Ince was one of the key players for England at Euro 1996, where the team finished third.
The Englishman also spent several years playing for Manchester United, winning the Premier League title twice, the European Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Super Cup in 1991, as well as the FA Cup, League Cup, and the FA Community Shield.
