Manchester United may have another major move in store before the summer transfer window closes.

Details: According to SullyTalkz, Manchester United are interested in Al-Ahli striker Ivan Toney and are considering the England international as one of the options to strengthen their attack if Joshua Zirkzee leaves the club this summer.

The potential deal is directly linked to Zirkzee's future. United are not expected to move for another striker unless the Dutch forward departs Old Trafford before the transfer deadline, with several clubs having monitored his situation during the summer.

Toney would offer Manchester United a proven English forward with Premier League experience, while the 30-year-old is currently under contract with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli. The striker has also remained involved with the England national team and was part of the squad at the 2026 World Cup.

For now, there is no indication that negotiations between Manchester United and Al-Ahli have begun. Toney is being monitored as a possible solution rather than an unconditional transfer target, meaning Zirkzee's departure would be the key development required for United to advance their interest.

It is worth noting that Toney has been extremely productive in Saudi Arabia. According to the Saudi Pro League, the England striker scored 55 goals in 62 matches across his first two seasons with Al-Ahli, while Reuters reported that he registered 42 goals during the 2025/26 campaign.
