Details: Today, 36-year-old Italian attacking midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura officially announced his retirement from professional football.

At the moment, Bonaventura is a free agent after leaving Al-Shabab in the summer of 2025.
Bonaventura spent the majority of his professional career at AC Milan, where he made 184 appearances, scored 35 goals, and provided 30 assists.
"Most of my matches were with Milan, and that's the team I'm most connected to," Bonaventura wrote in his farewell letter.
Giacomo also played for clubs such as Atalanta, Padova, and Fiorentina during his career. For the Italian national team, Bonaventura made 18 appearances and scored 1 goal.
