The disciplinary committee of the Football Association (FA) has officially charged Manchester United defender Harry Maguire with “improper conduct.”
Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, the charge stems from an incident in a recent match against Bournemouth (2-2), when the experienced centre-back was shown a red card in the 79th minute for a foul on Evanilson. Reports say Maguire's furious reaction to the referee’s decision after being sent off crossed the line of acceptable behaviour, prompting this additional investigation.

The situation is heating up: Maguire has until tomorrow, April 2, to submit his official explanation and respond to the FA’s charges. If the defender fails to prove his case or mitigate his guilt, he could be facing not only the standard one-match suspension for a last-man foul, but also an additional ban and a hefty fine.
This could be a major blow for Michael Carrick, whose side is already struggling with a shortage of defenders during the crucial run-in of the Premier League season.
Reminder: Barcelona’s buyout option for Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford has expired.
