The Red Devils continue their search for a new head coach.
Details: According to renowned and authoritative journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, former Manchester United manager, 52-year-old Ole Gunnar Solskjær, has stated that he wishes to take the helm of the Red Devils once again.
At the moment, there are no negotiations between Solskjær and United, and these words are purely the Norwegian's own initiative and desire. However, he could be considered by the Manchester United management as one of the candidates.
Following the dismissal of Rúben Amorim, the team is currently being managed by Darren Fletcher, who will serve as interim head coach until a permanent appointment is made.
Solskjær previously led Manchester United from 2018 to 2021, initially as caretaker and later as the full-time manager. During his tenure, he oversaw 162 matches, recording 92 wins, 32 draws, and 41 defeats.
In November 2021, Solskjær was dismissed from his position as Manchester United head coach.
