Swiss national team midfielder Johan Manzambi has joined a very exclusive club at the World Cup.
Details: According to Opta, Manzambi is just the third player under 21 this century to record 4 or more goal involvements at a single World Cup.
The Swiss star has notched 3 goals and 1 assist at the tournament.
Previously, only Kylian Mbappé at the 2018 World Cup and Thomas Müller at the 2010 tournament had managed such a feat among U21 players.
In their post, Opta called Manzambi a "diamond" - and with stats like these, the comparison couldn't be more fitting.
Reminder: Earlier, Switzerland scored just 39 seconds after halftime - the fastest second-half goal at a World Cup in the last 16 years.
