Details: According to journalist Pete Hall, the 44-year-old English specialist Michael Carrick is being considered by Manchester United's management as one of the top candidates for the position of interim head coach.

It is reported that Carrick could take charge of the Red Devils for the remainder of the season. Negotiations between the parties are expected to begin in the coming days.

Previously, Carrick served as Manchester United's interim head coach from November to December 2021. After that, Michael Carrick was appointed head coach of Middlesbrough, from where he was dismissed in June 2025.
