Several members of the Senegal national team delegation unable to travel to Canada

They were unable to obtain visas to travel to Toronto for the final group stage match of the 2026 World Cup.
Members of the Senegalese Football Federation, the national team’s official photographer and the community manager have been unable to travel to Canada for the Lions of Teranga’s match on Friday 26 June. They are forced to remain in the United States due to visa issues.
According to reports, the national team’s official photographer and the Teranga Lions’ community manager were informed on Wednesday 24 June that they would be unable to travel to Canada as they did not hold valid visas to enter the country. However, videographer Iliasse Bams, who holds a French passport, will accompany Pape Thiaw’s team to Canada.
