Renowned promoter Frank Warren responded to Tyson Fury's remarks that the championship fight against Oleksandr Usyk was "too easy" for the "Gypsy King."

"What do I think about Fury's words? It was a very close fight. I thought Tyson did enough to win. Many said the fight was won by the other corner. Many neutral judges and a few people in the US thought so too – either a draw or a win for Usyk, and a few gave it to Tyson.

It was the kind of fight that took a lot out of both fighters. There’s no doubt about that.

Tyson won the first half of the fight. I believe that in the eighth round, when Fury took a punch to the nose, he was very comfortable. At that point, he was catching Usyk with his punches," Warren said.

Earlier, manager Spencer Brown discussed Fury's reaction to Usyk relinquishing the IBF belt.

Let’s recall that Ukrainian defeated Fury by split decision, and in the ninth round, the Ukrainian sent the "Gypsy King" to the canvas.

The rematch between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for December 21. The fight will once again take place in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
