"Thank you for saving me". Manchester City star spoke about his emotions after Bellingham goal

Manchester City star Phil Foden, who was named the Premier League's best player last season, shared his feelings when Jude Bellingham scored a bicycle kick against Slovakia to save England from defeat.

"I thought I was 30 seconds away from feeding a baby at home. So thank you, Jude, for that; thank you for saving me! Honestly, what he did was just incredible. It speaks volumes about him. He never gives up until the very end", Foden told Sky Sports.

It is worth noting that before the match against Slovakia, Foden had flown home prematurely to avoid missing the birth of his third child.

So far, Foden has not registered any goal contributions at Euro 2024.

In the quarterfinals of the European Championship 2024, England will face Switzerland. The match is scheduled for Saturday, July 6.
