British heavyweight Tyson Fury made a sensational claim in an interview, stating that he believes Oleksandr Usyk did not truly defeat him in their bout for the undisputed world championship.

"I've watched the fight many times and always come to the same conclusion - I believe I won. Usyk knows he didn’t beat me.

I think I was hitting him on the head for most of the rounds. He broke my nose in the eighth round, had a 10-8 in the ninth round, and I gave him the tenth round. But other than that, I didn’t concede any rounds to him.

In reality, it was much easier than I expected. People said he was hard to hit, but I was lighting him up with four-punch combinations and laughing at him. My issue was probably that I was having too much fun. It was too easy. It felt like I was boxing with a local amateur. I was enjoying myself too much and paid the highest price in the ninth round", stated Fury.

It should be noted that Usyk defeated Fury by a split decision, and in the ninth round, the Ukrainian knocked down the “Gypsy King.”

A rematch between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for December 21. The fight will once again take place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
