Álvaro Morata has moved closer to a return to Serie A, but this time, it's not to Juventus.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, AC Milan is showing interest in Morata as they search for a new main striker following Olivier Giroud's departure. Morata's release clause is a mere 13 million euros, making him an attractive option for the Rossoneri.
However, it is known that Morata currently prefers to stay at Atlético Madrid, and if he leaves, it would only be for a return to Juventus.
Previously, it was reported that Saudi Arabian Pro League newcomer Al-Qadisiyah was interested in Morata, but the Spain captain declined the opportunity.
Last season, Morata scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists in 32 matches for Atlético.
The 31-year-old forward's contract with Atlético runs until the summer of 2026.
