Unoptimistic. Mikel Arteta reveals the severity of Ødegaard's injury

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has revealed the severity of the injury to team captain Martin Ødegaard.
Details: It has been confirmed that the Norwegian's injury is quite serious. Scans showed that the midfielder has damaged the ligaments in his ankle.
It is estimated that he will not return to the pitch for at least two months.
Quote: "Recent examinations have shown that he has damage, specifically to one of the ankle ligaments. I don't want to put any time frame on it because I'm not a doctor, but it’s quite serious. So, we will definitely be without him for some time.
Martin is our captain. He has always been one of our best players. Our style of play is closely tied to how he performs on the pitch. It’s a serious challenge for the team to see how we can cope without him," Arteta commented on the Norwegian’s injury.
Reminder: Photos previously surfaced showing Ødegaard moving on crutches and with assistance due to the ankle injury he sustained during a match for the Norwegian national team.
The midfielder may have arrived at the national team camp already injured, something Norway's head coach, Ståle Solbakken, hinted at earlier.
