London side Arsenal are considering a blockbuster transfer and are ready to compete for one of Manchester City's key players, Erling Haaland.

Details: According to TEAMtalk, the entourage of the Manchester City star and prolific Norwegian striker is already exploring options for a potential move in 2027. The forward himself is leaning toward continuing his career in Spain's La Liga, where Barcelona, who are actively laying the groundwork for a future deal, and Real Madrid are the leading contenders for his signature.

Despite this, Arsenal, buoyed by steady financial growth, are ready to challenge the Spanish giants for one of the most valuable assets in world football today.

It is worth recalling that Premier League chiefs are still considering potential sanctions against the “Citizens” for financial violations allegedly committed between 2009 and 2018.

In the 2026/27 season, Haaland has made seven appearances for City in all competitions, scoring seven goals. His current contract with the “Blues” runs until 2034, while Transfermarkt values the player at €220 million.
