The Arsenal and Germany legend Mesut Özil has taken his physical fitness seriously after retiring. The former midfielder has repeatedly astonished fans with photos of his biceps and videos of his gym sessions.

Today, Özil posted a new photo on Instagram, showcasing his impressive six-pack abs.

Özil captioned the photo: "1 year of very hard work."

As a reminder, Özil's last club was Istanbul Başakşehir. He announced his retirement in March 2023.

In addition to Arsenal, Özil also played for Real Madrid, Werder Bremen, Schalke, and Fenerbahçe during his career.
