Tandrevold, Oeberg and Braisaz-Bouchet. Results of the women's sprint at the Biathlon World Cup
On Friday, December 8th, the first women's race took place at the second stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Hochfilzen, Austria.
Similar to the men's sprint, the top spot in the women's category was claimed by a Norwegian athlete. Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold completed the distance in 20 minutes and 59.9 seconds without any shooting errors. On the second podium position was Sweden's Elvira Oeberg, who finished 4.9 seconds behind with one missed shot during shooting. The third position was secured by Justine Braisaz-Bouchet from France. She trailed Tandrevold by 19.7 seconds and had one missed shot during shooting.
