Two Norwegians and a Swede in the top 3. Results of the men's sprint biathlon
The second stage of the Biathlon World Cup for the 2023-24 season has commenced. On Friday, December 8th, the men's sprint race took place in Hochfilzen, Austria.
Norwegian biathlete Tarjei Bo claimed the top spot in the competition, completing the distance in 24 minutes and 37.5 seconds. Bo demonstrated impeccable marksmanship, hitting all the targets without a single miss. Another Norwegian, Sturla Laegreid, secured the second position, trailing Bo by 4.9 seconds and registering one miss during shooting. Sebastian Samuelsson from Sweden completed the triumvirate of leaders, finishing 10 seconds behind the leader and missing one shot.
