Iron Man. An Arsenal defender set a unique record among the club's players

Arsenal defender William Saliba achieved a unique milestone among the Gunners' players in the Premier League.

In the recently concluded 2023/24 campaign, the French defender played every minute of all 38 matches in the English championship. Saliba became the first outfield player in Arsenal's history to accomplish such a feat.

Previously, Saliba set a record among all outfield players in the top 5 leagues this season.

Across all competitions, the French center-back played 50 matches and scored 2 goals. Notably, he played fewer than 90 minutes in only one of these 50 matches. Saliba was substituted in the 62nd minute of the Champions League group stage match against PSV. In total, he spent 4,502 minutes on the field.

Arsenal finished the season in second place in the Premier League, trailing Manchester City by two points.
