Details: Today it was reported that legendary Norwegian coach Åge Hareide has passed away at the age of 72, after battling cancer in recent months.
Hareide was diagnosed with brain cancer in July of this year and spent the last months fighting bravely against the illness, but the disease ultimately proved stronger.
Hareide's coaching career was truly remarkable and memorable. He managed clubs such as Molde, Helsingborg, Malmö, Rosenborg, Viking, and Brøndby. He also took charge of the national teams of Norway, Denmark, and Iceland.
Throughout his career, Hareide won the Danish championship with Brøndby, the Swedish championship with Malmö and Helsingborg, the Swedish Cup with Helsingborg, the Norwegian championship with Rosenborg, as well as the Norwegian Cup with Molde and Rosenborg.
