Ranieri has chosen his successor. Roma coach is believed to have been bluffing

Roma head coach Claudio Ranieri has refused to stay at the helm of the Giallorossi, instead turning his attention to finding his own successor. That process is now complete, as the manager himself has confirmed.
Details: In an interview with La Repubblica, Ranieri stated that Roma have already signed a contract with a new coach, although he did not reveal the name, saying the club would make the announcement at the appropriate time. However, speculation is already rife about who it might be.
Sebastiano Sarno reports that the new head coach of Roma will indeed be Atalanta boss Gian Piero Gasperini, as was previously reported, and that Ranieri’s earlier claims that the “Goddess” manager would not be working at the Stadio Olimpico were nothing more than a bluff.
Reminder: In 35 matches, the 73-year-old Ranieri secured 21 wins, seven draws, and suffered seven defeats. He has guaranteed the Giallorossi a spot in next season’s European competitions, and Roma still have a chance to qualify for the Champions League in the final round.
