Secret Champions League talks: Roma keen to lure Endrick away from Real Madrid
The Rome-based club is looking to take advantage of the Brazilian wonderkid's lack of playing time to add a major boost to its attack.
Details: Italian side Roma remains in constant contact with Real Madrid and is seriously intent on securing the loan signing of 20-year-old Brazilian forward Endrick. The report comes from respected transfer insider Ekrem Konur.
The Giallorossi see the young Brazilian as an ideal addition to their attacking unit, capable of providing pace, creativity and a prolific goalscoring threat. Due to fierce competition within Los Blancos' squad, the forward has not been receiving regular starts, making a temporary move to Italy's Serie A an attractive option for his continued development.
The decisive moment in the negotiations is expected to come when the teams meet in the UEFA Champions League on October 14. The club chiefs will use the European clash as an opportunity to meet in person in an informal setting and discuss the terms of a potential loan deal for the winter transfer window in detail.
It is worth noting that Endrick joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 after moving from Brazilian club Palmeiras for €35 million, excluding bonuses, and has already made more than a dozen appearances for the Brazil national team.
