Messi has arrived in the US: when will his presentation at Inter Miami take place

The captain of the Argentine national team, ex-player of Barcelona and PSG Lionel Messi arrived in the United States on the eve.

According to local media, this weekend the Argentine will sign a contract with Inter Miami, after which he will be officially presented as a new player of the club.

It is expected that the official ceremony of introduction of the star footballer will be held on Sunday, July 16.

Messi has spent the last two seasons as a member of PSG. During this time he played 75 matches in all tournaments, scored 32 goals and made 35 goal assists. Twice he became champion of France and won the Super Cup of the country.

As part of Barcelona, the Argentine striker spent almost his entire career. Together with the Catalan club, he became a ten-time champion of Spain, seven-time winner of the Cup of the country, four triumphs in the Champions League and three times took the UEFA Super Cup.

With Argentina, Messi won the World Cup in 2022 and the America's Cup in 2021.

His contract with PSG expired this summer, after which he was granted free agent status.
