The final participant for Serie A next season has been determined

On June 2, in the Italian Serie B, the second leg of the playoff final for the right to compete in the elite division of local football took place. Venezia hosted Cremonese at home, with the first match ending in a goalless draw.
The visitors held more possession and created more dangerous chances in front of the opponent's goal, but luck favored Paolo Vanoli's team that evening. Midway through the first half, forward Christian Gytkjær scored the only goal of the match with a well-taken shot following a pass from Gianluca Busio.
After two years, Venezia is returning to Serie A. Previously, Como and Parma also secured promotion to the elite division. In contrast, Frosinone, Sassuolo, and Salernitana will be relegated to Serie B.
