The head of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, announced on his X page the date for the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury!

The bout is scheduled to take place in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh, on December 21.

This rematch clause was included in the contract before their first encounter, which occurred this month and ended with the Ukrainian's victory by a split decision.

It is worth noting that Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the 21st century. However, there was a possibility that on June 1, he could be stripped of his IBF title, which was set to be contested by mandatory challengers Filip Hrgović and Daniel Dubois.

Nevertheless, it has been officially confirmed that Usyk's team submitted a request to the IBF and secured the title's retention for the Ukrainian until the rematch with Fury. This means we are in for a second fight for the undisputed title.
