Italian national team defender risks missing Euro 2024 due to injury


Italian national team and Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini risks missing Euro 2024, reports insider Fabrizio Romano.
The defender sustained a knee injury in Atalanta's final match of the season against Fiorentina (2-3).
Scalvini has been diagnosed with a knee injury. If it is an anterior cruciate ligament injury, Giorgio will miss Euro 2024 and the first part of the upcoming season.
In the recently concluded season, Scalvini played 44 matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists. He also featured in eight games for the Italian national team.
The 20-year-old defender's impressive performances have attracted attention from several top clubs. Media reports link him with interest from Manchester United, Inter, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool.
