As you know, in the summer, Manchester United have started a significant rebuilding of the squad, which will primarily affect the defensive line. Thus, it is already known on whom at Old Trafford do not count next season.

Thus, the Red Devils have not offered a new contract to Raphael Varane, and, as Fabrizio Romano wrote in The Daily Briefing, the Mancunians are now not taking steps to extend the labour agreement, which expires in the coming summer:

"From what I know, Varane has not received any offer to extend his contract and there are no talks with the club at all right now. We'll see what happens in the coming months, but if nothing changes, he will leave as a free agent."

Romano also adds that the 30-year-old defender could have offers from both Europe and Saudi Arabia.
