India vs New Zealand 1st ODI: BCCI Confirms Official Time for Play to Resume After Rain Delay India vs New Zealand 1st ODI: BCCI Confirms Official Time for Play to Resume After Rain Delay

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed the resumption time for the rain-interrupted first ODI between India and New Zealand at Eden Park in Auckland.

According to the latest update, play is scheduled to resume at 9:05 PM local time, which is 1:35 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

Persistent rain has disrupted proceedings in the opening match of the three-game ODI series, with the weather also delaying the toss earlier in the day.

India were chasing a target of 186 runs when rain forced the players off the field. At the time of the interruption, the visitors had reached 54/1 after 10.5 overs and were comfortably ahead of the required par score.

Virat Kohli was unbeaten on 29 off 27 deliveries, while Shubman Gill had scored 17 from 32 balls.
