The Scotsman chose not to scold Gueye and instead responded to the journalist's question with humor.
Details: Everton's 62-year-old head coach David Moyes commented on the incident involving Idrissa Gueye's sending off after a fight with teammate Michael Keane during yesterday's match against Manchester United:
"I couldn't quite understand it. I don't think anyone could have expected it. Anthony Taylor told me that, by the letter of the law, if you raise your hand, you can be sent off.
I don't think anyone else in the stadium would have even noticed it. Honestly, I even like it when my players argue with each other — it shows they care and have high standards for one another. It's a shame he was sent off. He apologized. He praised the team and is grateful for the result. We move forward.
The fact that the team won when the score was 0-0 at the time — that's an incredible result, considering the huge progress Manchester United have made," Moyes said.

Everton still managed to take all 3 points from Old Trafford despite playing with ten men from the 14th minute, with the only goal of the match scored by Dewsbury-Hall.
