Aston Villa winger Jadon Sancho could once again become a Borussia Dortmund player. According to the Daily Mirror, the Englishman views a return to Germany as an opportunity to revive his career.
It is reported that the Dortmund club is demanding Sancho agree to halve his wages—to £150,000 per week. Otherwise, a spot in the Bundesliga squad is not guaranteed, even if he joins as a free agent.
Recall that Sancho is currently playing for Villa on loan from Manchester United, but he hasn't been getting enough playing time and has yet to make a real impact. The Englishman's contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of the season, and the club has no intention of extending the deal or continuing to pay him £300,000 a week.
