Manchester United failed to overcome the Toffees despite playing almost the entire match with a man advantage.

Details: In yesterday’s 12th round fixture of the English Premier League, Liverpool’s Everton clinched an away victory over Manchester United, who had the numerical advantage from the 14th minute.

It all unfolded after Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye, in the 13th minute, struck his own teammate Michael Keane and was subsequently sent off. Then, in the 29th minute, Dewsbury-Hall silenced the Manchester crowd with a stunning strike.

Despite their efforts to equalize, the Red Devils couldn’t find the back of the net, gifting Everton manager David Moyes his first-ever victory at Old Trafford as a head coach. Previously, Moyes had left this stadium with four draws and thirteen defeats.

Additionally, yesterday marked the first time Manchester United lost a Premier League match at Old Trafford after an opponent received a red card. Previously, United had won 36 and drawn 10 of the 46 such encounters.

Reminder: Friendly fire! Idrissa Gueye sent off for lashing out at teammate Michael Keane
