Flick aims to lure Bayern Munich's leader to Barcelona

The prospective head coach of Catalan Barcelona, Hansi Flick, is keen on signing the pivotal midfielder of Bayern Munich, Joshua Kimmich, for the Catalan club. This was reported by the renowned football insider, Fabrizio Romano.

The German coach holds Kimmich's capabilities in high regard, although he hasn't yet had discussions regarding the transfer campaign with the sporting director of the Blaugrana, Deco.

In the 2023/24 campaign, Kimmich featured in 43 matches for Bayern Munich, scoring 2 goals and providing 10 assists. The esteemed German portal Transfermarkt values the player at 60 million euros. The contract of the 29-year-old midfielder with Bayern expires in a year - in the summer of 2025.
