First trophy in history! Crystal Palace defeat Man City in the FA Cup final

On Saturday, May 17, London played host to the FA Cup final. At the iconic Wembley Stadium, Crystal Palace and Manchester City locked horns in a clash to remember.
The match ended in a genuine sensation, though not without its share of controversial moments. The destiny of the trophy was sealed by a solitary goal from Eberechi Eze, while the standout hero was the Eagles' goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.
The 28-year-old shot-stopper could have received a red card as early as the first half, but just minutes later, he saved a penalty taken by Marmoush. Henderson also pulled off several outstanding saves that helped preserve the narrow victory.
Remarkably, this was Crystal Palace's third appearance in an FA Cup final, but they celebrated their maiden triumph. Even more historic, this trophy is the club's first in their 120-year existence.
It's also worth noting that Manchester City finish a season without silverware for the first time since 2016/17. In Pep Guardiola's debut campaign, the Citizens finished third in the Premier League and were eliminated in the semi-finals of the FA Cup, as well as in the round of 16 of both the League Cup and the Champions League.
