€50m for Flick. Barcelona find their midfielder in Germany
Hansi Flick could soon get another familiar Bundesliga profile for his Barcelona project.
Details: According to Fussball-News, Barcelona have intensified their scouting of VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller as they assess a potential future move for the German. Representatives of the Catalan club attended Stuttgart's Champions League meeting with Viking FK to watch the midfielder in person.
The report states that detailed assessments of Stiller's performance were subsequently sent to Barcelona's decision-makers. At this stage, however, the interest remains at the scouting level and no official negotiations with Stuttgart have begun.
VfB are in no hurry to lose one of their key midfielders. The German club are reluctant to sell Stiller and currently value him at approximately €40–50 million, meaning Barcelona would have to make a significant investment if they decide to turn their interest into a formal offer.
It is worth noting that Stiller's contract with Stuttgart runs until June 30, 2028. He also made a direct contribution in the recent 3-1 Champions League victory over Viking FK, providing the assist for Stuttgart's opening goal.
Reminder: Galactic numbers! La Liga hands Real Madrid a record salary limit, and Barça are back in business
