Eze considers potential Crystal Palace ban from European competitions unfair

The euphoria that swept through Crystal Palace after their FA Cup triumph and subsequent qualification for the Europa League has quickly given way to anxious glances toward UEFA headquarters, as the fate of the Eagles' European campaign hangs in the balance. Midfielder Eberechi Eze has weighed in on the matter.
Details: Eze is hopeful that the team will ultimately be allowed to play in the Europa League, stressing that the players have worked tremendously hard to earn that spot—and if those efforts are in vain, it would, understandably, be a bitter pill to swallow.
Quote: “I really hope that Crystal Palace are rewarded, because we had to put in a lot of effort to achieve this. It would be extremely disappointing if it didn’t happen, but I believe that in the end, things will work out.
It should come naturally, because there are players who have worked tirelessly to get us into this position. There are fans who have stood by the team all season and lived through every moment with us,” Eze told reporters.
Reminder: The issue stems from multi-club ownership by Crystal Palace owner John Textor, who also owns another Europa League participant—Lyon.
