Elite One: Colombe snatch a draw, Bamenda claim first win of the season

After a successful start with a win last weekend, the reigning Cameroonian league champions were unable to build on that result.

Facing Stade Renard away on Sunday 8 November as part of matchday four, Colombe Sportive found themselves behind before snatching a draw. Ngae Bissene opened the scoring for the home side in the 10th minute.

But the visitors struck back before half-time. Adam Musah equalised in the 39th minute from the penalty spot for the Southern Bird. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, with the two sides drawing 1-1.

The match between Canon Sportif de Yaoundé and Aigle de la Menoua ended in a 0-0 draw at the Ngoa-Ekele Military Stadium. Neither side managed to find the back of the net before the final whistle.

Meanwhile, PWD Bamenda secured their first win of the season on matchday four. The Bamenda-based club ran out 2-0 winners against Apejes at the Bamenda Local Stadium. Gilles Febe Bongaman and Patrick Clovert secured the victory for their side with a goal each.
