Djokovic achieved a resounding victory in the first round of Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic began his campaign at Wimbledon. On Tuesday, July 2, the world number two played against Vít Kopřiva.

The Serbian tennis player was the clear favorite going into the match, and he demonstrated why with his performance. Djokovic finished the first set in 34 minutes with a score of 6-1. The second set was slightly longer at 44 minutes, but with the same outcome - 6-2 to Djokovic.

Djokovic also took the third set convincingly. Although Vít Kopřiva started better, he couldn't maintain his advantage - 6-2. Novak Djokovic dominated the Czech player with a 3-0 victory, with the match lasting one hour and 59 minutes.

In the next round, Novak Djokovic will face the winner of the Fearnley/Moro Cañas match.
