Bermuda and Grenada reignited their 2026 FIFA World Cup aspirations with emphatic wins as the Second Round of the CONCACAF Qualifiers resumed on Wednesday, according to the official tournament site.
At the Dame Flora Duffy National Sports Centre, Bermuda dismantled the Cayman Islands 5-0. Zeiko Lewis converted an early penalty, with Djair Parfitt-Williams, Kole Hall, Reggie Lambe, and Julian Carpenter all adding to the tally in a dominant display. Bermuda now sits on four points in Group A and will travel to face Cuba next Tuesday in Santiago de Cuba.
In Group B, Grenada delivered an even more resounding 6-0 victory over The Bahamas at the Kirani James National Stadium. Goals came from Jermaine Francis, Darius Johnson, Keishean Francois, Joshua Isaac, Kayden Harrack, and Saydrel Lewis. Regan Charles-Cook assisted two of the first three goals, orchestrating the attack. Grenada, now third with four points, will face Saint Kitts and Nevis in Basseterre on Tuesday with a spot in the final round still possible.
The Bahamas and the Cayman Islands, now eliminated from contention, will wrap up their campaigns on Saturday against Costa Rica and Honduras, respectively.
