Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is edging closer to leaving Allianz Arena and continuing his career elsewhere.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the German is unlikely to extend his contract with the Bavarian giants and may leave the club next summer as a free agent. Negotiations between the parties will resume after the Euros. However, there is also a possibility that Kimmich could depart from the club this year.

Additionally, Bayern has prepared a list of six players who may leave the club this offseason. The list includes: De Ligt, Kimmich, Goretzka, Coman, Gnabry, and Mazraoui.

Additionally, Bayern is once again targeting a midfielder from Fulham, making him their top priority and starting negotiations with the Cottagers after reaching a verbal agreement with the Portuguese player. The deal is reportedly worth between 40-45 million euros.

Earlier reports indicated that Real's head coach Carlo Ancelotti prefers to strengthen the center of the defense rather than its flanks, so the transfer of the Canadian defender may not happen in the upcoming transfer window.
