Following Steve Clarke's resignation, the Scotland national team has begun its search for a new head coach. The Scottish Football Association's shortlist already includes several well-known specialists, featuring both seasoned managers and coaches well-acquainted with local football, reports SportsMole.
One of the frontrunners is Everton's head coach David Moyes, whose contract with the club runs for another season. Also among the candidates is former Celtic and Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, who knows Scottish football inside out.
Additionally, the list of possible successors includes former Denmark national team coach Kasper Hjulmand, ex-Rangers boss Barry Ferguson, as well as the current national team assistant Steven Naismith.
The final decision on Scotland's new head coach is expected to be made before the September Nations League fixtures.
