Cameroon confirms its schedule for the upcoming international break

The Indomitable Lions will play two qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations before facing Ivory Coast in a friendly.

The Cameroon national team is preparing for the FIFA international window in September–October 2026. Manager David Pagou and his players will have three fixtures during this period.

Cameroon will kick off the international break with the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Indomitable Lions will make their first qualifying appearance at home against the Comoros.

This match is scheduled for 24 September. Following this opening match in Yaoundé, the Indomitable Lions will travel to the Congo to face the Red Devils on 29 September, as part of the matchday 2 of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers.

A few days later, Cameroon will follow this up with a friendly match in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The Indomitable Lions will face the Elephants on 3 October.

But before that, on Monday 7 September, David Pagou will announce the squad list for these three matches.
