2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Cameroon’s official line-up against the Comoros revealed

The match between the Indomitable Lions and the Coelacanths is due to kick off in just over an hour at the Roumde Adjia Stadium, as part of the first matchday of qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

Cameroon, hosting the Comoros at their home ground in Garoua, will be aiming to kick off their campaign with a win in front of their home crowd. The two nations are facing each other for the fourth time since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

But the Indomitable Lions have an advantage over their opponents today. Cameroon have won two of their three previous encounters with the Comoros.

With a reshuffled squad for this opening fixture, David Pagou has opted for tried-and-tested players. The Indomitable Lions’ new captain, Bryan Mbeumo, is inevitably in the starting XI. Kick-off is at 7 pm GMT at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium in Garoua.
