2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Where and when to watch the Cameroon v Comoros match?

The Indomitable Lions will face the Coelacanths on 24 September in their opening match of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Cameroon host the Comoros this Thursday in Garoua for the first matchday of the qualifying campaign. The match is scheduled for 7 pm GMT at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium in Garoua.

This fixture will pit two sides against each other who are already familiar with one another. The Indomitable Lions and the Coelacanths have faced each other on a few occasions on the African stage.

The two nations were drawn together in Group C of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. That two-legged tie ended with a win for Cameroon and a draw.

A few years later, the Indomitable Lions and the Coelacanths met again on the biggest stage in African football. In January 2022, Cameroon and the Comoros faced off in the round of 16 of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations. At the end of that match, Cameroon once again emerged victorious with a 2–1 win.

The match on Thursday 24 September in Garoua will therefore be a reunion. For football fans, the match will be broadcast live on television. Canal+ Sport 1, New World TV and SuperSport will be showing the match live and in full.
