"We’ll try to calm everything down." Eberl comments on interest in Woltemade

It was believed that Bayern Munich were on the verge of signing Stuttgart midfielder Nick Woltemade, but at the last moment the Swabians hiked the price tag to a staggering one hundred million euros. The sporting director of the record champions, Max Eberl, made a clear statement on the matter.
Details: One of Bayern’s top executives stated that Stuttgart would also lose out if they demanded astronomical sums for Woltemade, as no club—including Munich—would be willing to pay such an amount.
Quote: "Stuttgart, Bayern, Woltemade—we all lose if astronomical sums come into play. We’ll no longer be able to speak objectively and exchange arguments, because there’s so much debate swirling around us. In the end, we’ll try to calm everything down.
Bayern or any other club in the world won’t pay sky-high prices. And if the prices are unrealistic, you have to accept it—then you look for another target. We have a plan and we want to execute it. If it doesn’t work out, then it doesn’t work out," Eberl said in an interview with DAZN.
