Turned down Chelsea and Napoli. Woltemade chooses Bayern
Stuttgart forward and Germany U21 international Nick Woltemade has made a definitive decision about his future, turning down talks with Chelsea and Napoli. This was reported by BILD journalist Julian Agardi.
Earlier, the representatives of the 23-year-old striker had planned to discuss potential transfer terms with Premier League and Serie A clubs. However, on the morning of June 29—immediately after the conclusion of the U21 Euro 2025—the parties were informed that negotiations were off.
Woltemade is firmly set on joining only Bayern and has repeatedly communicated this to Stuttgart. The Munich club remains his top priority, despite his current contract with Stuttgart running until 2028.
In the 2024/25 season, Woltemade became a key figure in the Swabians' attack: he netted 17 goals and provided 3 assists in 33 matches, while also claiming the Golden Boot at the U21 European Championship. Notably, Stuttgart is aiming to secure around €100 million from his transfer.
