The fight between former UFC champion Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler has been officially canceled, as announced by UFC President Dana White.

According to White, the bout, which was scheduled for June 29 in Las Vegas, has been called off due to an injury to the Irishman.

The new main event for UFC 303 will be a rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka.

The 35-year-old McGregor has not fought since July 2021, when he broke his leg during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

Recently, the legendary UFC fighter became a co-owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), often referred to as the “fastest growing sports company in the world.”
