Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny may leave the Turin club and join another Serie A team.
According to Nicolò Schira, Monza has shown interest in the Polish goalkeeper. A meeting between the parties took place last week. Monza wants Juventus to cover a significant portion of his salary (€6.5 million plus bonuses) as severance pay. If this condition is met, the transfer is quite possible.
Recently, Wojciech Szczęsny was very close to joining a team from Saudi Arabia. However, the transfer to Al-Nassr faced complications. It was later revealed that the Saudi investment fund, which was supposed to finance the transfer, did not provide the necessary approval, putting all negotiations on hold.
We would like to remind you that on 19 July 2017, Szczęsny left Arsenal and signed a contract with Juventus. The transfer fee was €12.2 million plus €3.1 million in possible bonuses.
