Flamengo has approached West Ham United with a loan offer for the Brazilian midfielder


The Brazilian club Flamengo is seeking reinforcements in this transfer window. They have unexpectedly approached West Ham United with a loan offer for one of their players.
According to journalist Vene Casagrande, the Brazilian team aims to loan Lucas Paquetá. Negotiations between the clubs are already underway. The player is aware of this and is willing to join Flamengo on loan. The Brazilian team has high expectations of securing the player.
Lucas Paquetá is a product of Flamengo's youth academy. He made his debut for the senior team on March 5, 2016, in a Carioca League match against Bangu. On February 19, 2017, he scored his first goal in a match against Madureira.
In the fall of 2018, after prolonged speculation, it was announced that he would transfer to Italian club AC Milan for €35 million in the January transfer window. On September 30, 2020, Lucas joined French club Lyon. In 2022, he moved to England and signed a contract with West Ham United.
