Manchester United is actively preparing for the summer transfer window, considering two potential attacking reinforcements. At the same time, the club might lose several key players, opening up opportunities for new signings.
One of the main targets for the "Red Devils" is Wolverhampton's forward Matheus Cunha, valued at £62.5 million. Also on Manchester United's radar is Liam Delap from Ipswich, who could leave the club for £30 million if his team gets relegated.
Furthermore, the Daily Mail reports that the club might part ways with several major players this summer. Marcus Rashford, Antony, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund might be put up for sale. While not all of these players will necessarily leave, there is a high likelihood that Rashford, Antony, and Sancho may not stay at Manchester United.
In the event of these sales, Manchester United could secure substantial funds to help finance the purchase of Cunha. It is expected that one of the priority acquisitions could be either Cunha or Delap, both of whom could significantly bolster the club's attacking lineup. Delap, with his playing qualities, could replace Hojlund, while Cunha, versatile in various positions, could assist in replacing other attacking players.
This season, Manchester United has faced difficulties and is in the lower half of the league table, highlighting the need to strengthen the squad this summer. The club is ready to take significant steps to re-enter the title race and improve its attacking play.
